WORKING FOR ANDY'S PRODUCE MARKET Our Produce Clerks are responsible for contributing to the inventory and maintenance of the Produce Department by:
Performing Front House maintenance including facing shelved products and organic food on the Produce sales floor Shelving products from storage and walk-in coolers to the appropriate section of the store Providing exceptional customer service and client satisfaction by being knowledgeable about our products Trimming, cleaning, and preparing produce for retail WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE This position is prefect for someone who:
Enjoys starting their day early.
Produce Clerk shifts start at 4am without exception Has a strong work ethic and is dependable and trustworthy Is self-motivated with a professional demeanor Has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of staff The physical strength and endurance to perform work in a retail and grocery setting, including occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 60 pounds, working in cool temperatures between 45 -65 , and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner The most qualified candidates will have previous experience in the grocery industry.
