Our staff is fully committed to providing the highest quality of care to our dogs as well as excellent customer service.
Compensation ranges from $25.
00 - $45.
00/hour depending on skills and experience.
We are looking for candidates who are interested in upward advancement at Tappen Hill.
Every staff member starts out by training in advanced dog care in order to learn our dog care philosophy and protocols.
However, we are looking for that special person who also has the personality and skills to deliver excellent customer service and to thrive in our fast-paced front office as well as take on management responsibilities.
Ideal applicant must have:
Positive, team oriented attitude and be universally friendly and cheerful.
Leadership / Office Management / Customer Service experience.
Professional dog-handling experience (previous kennel or vet technician preferred).
Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Be punctual, responsible, and have a great team-oriented attitude.
Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
Be available to work some weekends, holidays and some evenings (we care for our dogs 365 days a year, so that is important for all potential applicants to understand).
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Office Management / Customer Service General dog care (feeding, bathing, exercising dogs, etc.
).
Performing physical exams and health evaluations.
Facility cleaning and maintenance.
