Dental Receptionist Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Safe work environment Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental receptionist to add to our team of really great staff.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, reliable, and has the ability to work independently.
We are looking for someone who is energetic, friendly, and outgoing.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working with patients and their families and has a friendly personality.
We want you to be able to provide excellent customer service as well as help our patients feel comfortable when we are in the office.
We want you to be able to perform all of our front office tasks with ease and professionalism.
Hours are:
Mondays 9:
00 am - 12:
00 pm Tuesdays from 7:
45 am to 5:
00 pm.
Wednesdays and Thursdays hours are 6:
45 am - 4:
00 pm The office is state-of-the art Covid safe.
Required Skills:
Strong communication skills with patients, doctor, and team members.
Personable, yet professional Comfortable with Dentrix software and working in a paperless office.
Comfortable with asking patients for payment at time of service.
Detail oriented
Responsibilities:
Greet patients upon arrival and check them out in a timely manner.
Answer phones and schedule patient appointments.
Check patients in and out and collect copays from their check-out area.
Obtain patient information from insurance companies, verify eligibility for services, review insurance coverage, prepare financial arrangements, etc.
Enter data into computer system accurately and efficiently; maintain data integrity; update records; perform financial transactions.
Prepare and maintain dental treatment plans for patients; prepare charts or medical records; prepare charts or notes for documentation purposes by competent dentists; answer dental patient questions regarding services provided; direct questions or requests to appropriate staff members; schedule appointments; assist in maintaining dental supplies inventory; make referrals as needed by telephone or e-mail.
Perform other duties as assigned by management including but not limited to filing of documents, answering of phones, etc.
