Grocery Store/Retail Full Service Deli, Meat and Produce Departments Offer a variety of natural, organic and specialty grocery items Pacific Market Stores is looking for a Freight Associate/Clerk to join our team in Sebastopol, CA.
The Frieght Associate will be responsible for preparing and stocking products in the store, assisting customers with product selection, and maintaining cleanliness of the store and grounds.
Typically Hours are from 2am - 11am or 5am - 2pm.
Pay is based on experience.
$19 - $24 an hour Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 18 years of age.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Some nights and weekends required.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
A valid driver's license is required for this position.
A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
Load, unload, prepare, and stock products as needed in the store, including removing stock from bags and placing it on shelves, pallets, etc.
Assist customers with product selections, including taste and price comparisons.
Maintain cleanliness of store and grounds.
Operate a point-of-sale system to process customer orders.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Grocery Ordering Expereince through UNFI, KEHE, and C&S very helpful Inventory Management of the Grocery Department Ability to order through multiple vendors, organize and understand gross profit margins, and have an understanding of product assortment for Sebastapol area
