The Medical Surgical Nurse Supervisor will take a huge role leading the inpatient care services of this recognized program that offers comprehensive care.
Employing cutting-edge screening technologies and techniques, this 24 bed Medical Surgical Unit is positioned to be one of the largest and most comprehensive and progressive units in an already comprehensive and progressive medical center.
Reporting to the Med/Surg Nursing Manager, who oversees Inpatient Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, and Rehabilitation, the Nurse Supervisor will have an integral role in the operations of the department.
Supporting the Supervisor are three CMSRN Charge Nurses, along with approximately 40 RNs across multiple floors.
You will also get to take an important role in developing clinical education for the unit in collaboration with unit-based and hospital-practice nurse educators.
The Nurse Supervisor of Medical Surgical will get to take a pivotal role in the clinical and administrative success of this large unit.
You'll work with educators and inpatient leaders to help develop and codify standards and practices that keep this Magnet-journey nursing program at the forefront of the medical field.
The Medical Surgical Nurse Supervisor will also get to serve as hospital-wide leader through optional participation in committees for employee experience, patient satisfaction, and quality improvement.
Working in collaboration with leaders in finance and operations, the Supervisor will also get to make significant impacts on improving the operational efficiencies of this unit.
