This is a full-time position (Barback part of the week, Food Runner/Busser part of the week) You are required to aid your fellow FOH team members in providing guests with a unique and efficient dining experience.
The position requires its candidates to be as comfortable with menu items as all other FOH members.
As BarBack your duties will include assisting the bartenders and lounge server, assisting guests, washing and restocking glassware, cleaning and maintaining the bar top, stocking bar beverages and liquor, and running food/drinks.
As Food Runner/Busser your duties will include running food and drinks in a quick manner, clearing and resetting tables, dropping checks and process payment if needed, stocking and helping break down at the end of the shift.
This is an entry level position, restaurant experience isn't required but is preferred.
Most important is to possess a genuine interest in food and the service industry in general.
NOTE:
Hourly Pay Rate has Tips included in the calculations Ramen Gaijin is a full bar, and to work as barback you will need to be age 21 or older.
Up to date Food Handler and Responsible Beverage certification required.
